One climb up. One flight down. Same day.
A day that starts on the bike and ends in the air. You ride up Monte Grappa from Bassano in the morning, lunch at the summit, then take off in a tandem paraglider and float back down to the valley. Few places in Europe let you experience the same landscape from the road and the sky in a single day. This is one of them.

The Day

Breakfast at the start Meet at Bassano Club House, a few minutes from the centre of Bassano del Grappa. Coffee, a light breakfast, and time to go over the route before setting off. |

The climb begins You set off from the club house on mountain bike or e-bike. The road climbs steadily through changing terrain. Views open up across the valleys as the altitude increases. |

Lunch at the top A rest at the summit. There is time to walk around, visit the war memorial, and eat before the next part of the day begins. Your bike is transferred down to the valley from here. |

The paragliding flight You take off in a tandem paraglider with a certified instructor. The flight covers the valleys and foothills of Veneto below Monte Grappa. Duration is roughly one hour. |
| 15:00 In the valley |
Landing, shower, aperitivo You land in the valley. Showers are available, then an aperitivo and food tasting with local wines. The day finishes around a table with fellow riders. |

Worth knowing before you book
Not suitable for: People with high blood pressure, pregnant women, altitude sickness, people afraid of heights, children under 18, people who cannot ride a bike, or those above 95 years old.
What to bring: A change of clothes. Cycling kit for the ride up, and something dry for the afternoon and evening.
Weather: Paragliding is weather-dependent. In the event of poor conditions, the Epic Italy team will contact you in advance to rearrange.
Group size: Small group, non-private. Minimum age: 18 years.
Cancellation: Standard 24-hour cancellation policy applies.
