Treviso is widely considered the birthplace of tiramisù and every year the city hosts the Tiramisù World Cup, a joyful and slightly chaotic competition where amateur pastry enthusiasts compete to create the best tiramisù in the world.

Over several days the historic centre fills with competitors, judges, spectators and food lovers from across Italy and abroad.

Epic Italy guests join the event with a relaxed day trip from Bassano del Grappa, discovering Treviso’s elegant canals and historic streets before diving into the atmosphere of the competition.

Along the way there are plenty of opportunities to taste tiramisù, learn about its origins and experience one of the most playful food events in Italy.
